Absolutely horrible! Cockroaches in the hallway Trash everywhere dirty hallways, people not treating you like paying customer… Construction but no compensation, high price old amenities cold pool in the shadow Gym often full, dog park covered with poop very unhygienic

Pros: friendly staff, fun events, great location, modern layout, maintenance usually resolves our problems quickly. Cons: fruit fly infestation, things that break (elevator, gates, etc.) never get fixed, if you have a unit with higher ceilings the utility bill is sky high, package thefts, valet trash service has very strict rules, first floor apartments do not have access to convenient parking

The apartment itself has been great along with amenities. It is in a great location of the North Gulch with great restaurants and things to do nearby. Although we've had some issues upon move in such as our apartment not being cleaned prior and discolored paint patches. The leasing office has not gotten back to us on any of our concerns related to that. Elevators and parking garage gates also broken a lot.

Trash rooms out of control. The garage gets full of people trying to do Uber Eats and door dash. You can't even get into the garage at times. Gnats are everywhere due to trash piling up in trash rooms.

We loved living here so far. We have enjoyed the events, the friends we have made, and enjoy having a nice space to live in! We think maintenance has been timely and enjoy engaging with the front desk staff. We do hope that the trash rooms will continue to be cleaned out, the doors will be fixed to remain locked and the gates will soon be fixed to ensure safety.

The unit itself is great and I love having an outward facing balcony! The only issue is the motorcycle racers that love to fly down the alley, but when it’s calm and peaceful, it makes it worth it! The amenities are also great :)

So great. An improvement would be to get rid of fetch and go back to Amazon lockers. Also, presssure washing the grills and outdoor tables, making sure everything is fully functional and stocked.

pretty good but crime (car breakins) / general unease is major detractor. Traffic hell but that's all of Nashville Staff is friendly Coffee machine and pool are cool lower trust and estranged neighbors Otherwise it would be a 4 or 5 but the multiple instances of car breakins (waves - 8-15 cars at a time) drag down the rating. They put a sign up saying "we are not responsible for damage to vehicles" or something like that. these issues combined with the general atomization or alienation , there isn't a real "community" here, it's not wholesome chungus vibes. There are some cool people here and there. But then again, what apartments are going to even provide that? not many. That's why I hate apartments, they suck fr. If I'm gonna be atomized may as well have an actual home. I give a 3 or 3.5

The Gossett was definitely the right choice when I was apartment hunting. It’s not only in a great location but the units themselves are also spacious and nice. I also enjoy the amenities here and they are all well taken care of by the staff.

I love the location of this apartment and the staff but the up keep of the courtyards is at a one star. The grills are always disgusting always have bird poop on them and don’t ever look clean enough to cook on they pressure washed the area for the season but I’m sure that’s all that will happen rents gone up but upkeep hasn’t matched building upkeep. The claim luxury living on line but it doesn’t not reflect in person. Living on the first floor it’s not the prettiest view

Been here for two years now and I would say it is a great community with very fun events . BUT maintenance isn’t the best , there are these fire alarm issue that happen a lot in winter, and there are some updates needed in the building. For the price and location I expect no silly problems like this . But I mean great apartment if u find a good price for one

Breanna has been so kind and helpful from the second I inquired about touring. I chose the gossett because of how responsive she has been to any questions or nerves I have had. I had a few minor issues upon move in and Jamar was able to immediately fix them which included fixing my thermostat, sealing the toilet, caulking the kitchen sink and then he offered to help me with mounting my tv. All in all it’s been good so far!

Maintenance Team - 10/10 Front Desk Team - 8/10 Coffee Machine - 10/10 (tea bar is an excellent addition) City life 3/10 - everything sucks now, it's dangerous, car breakins, gross in general, even in a nice part of the city it's still "the city", whoever we are putting in these cars cannot drive, which proves to be a huge safety risk, therefore I almost never go anywhere when I don't have to. Other residents - 4/10. Not horrible or obnoxious by any means but not super friendly either. Kevin was super friendly and I appreciate Kevin but other than that it's just a bunch of random, overly busy people I never see, whom I probably have nothing in common with anyway. There's this general alienation or estrangement when it comes to the other units. FINAL RATING: 3.5/5 stars. I'll be generous and include a half star because you can't split.

The gate is a headache the sticker for your windshield hardly works to open the gate and if someone gets behind you it’s even worse because you can’t back up or turn around

I just moved in about 1 week ago and so far the entire team at the Gossett has been great! Jamar from Maintenance is amazing, Angelea and the entire team at the office are great. The apartment and facilities thus far have been so clean and the response times when asking for any kind of help are so fast! Overall the team here has attributed a lot to my entire move process being stress free . I toured about 25 complexes before picking the Gossett!! They stood out due to price, location, service, and cleanliness.

The Gossett has been great to us! It is located in a prime location within walking distance to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and workplaces. Although the complex is older than the high rises that surround it, maintenance has done a good job renovating bits and pieces. Rent prices are reasonable for its location and amenities; however, I do wish they offered more state-of-the-art amenities such as a hot tub, sauna, fire pit, golf simulator, or a tanning bed. Another thing I would fix are the gates/doors to the complex — they’re open half the time which could lead to privacy and security concerns. Lastly, I don’t like that we have to rely on a third-party carrier to deliver our packages.

The staff and location totally sold us on moving here. We were in a corporate apartment after relocating from a 4 bedroom house and solely based on the area and the staff, we decided to downsize and stay in the city. The apartment sizes are deceiving as they live larger than they look. The only negative thing about the size is the lack of storage but that's from someone moving from a large house to an apartment. Probably the best and certainly most unexpected surprise is how incredibly dog friendly this property and especially the staff are. There's a small dog run/park on property that's convenient to get to and dog parks close by.

I really like living at the Gossett due to location and maintenance is really good. It was a rough start because I had a mold problem in my apartment that could have been due to a leaky roof outside my apartment in the hallway. This wasn’t handled the best as I was in a way lied to when I showed leasing and maintenance the mold behind my sink. Maintenance told me it wasn’t mold it was just mildew…mildew is mold. They then offered to do a o2 air cleanse which I agreed to but it required me to be gone for at least 2 days. I’m a student and this was happening mid-semester so it was super inconvenient. When I came back home who ever did the O2 air treatment didn’t lock my apartment so my apartment was left unlocked for almost a week.

The apartment is pretty good, nice size, gets kind of loud facing the interstate but I sleep fine. The overall cleanliness of the complex is hit and miss. Stairwell by my apartment could use a power-wash, someone let their dog defecate and it's never been cleaned. I enjoy the monthly events though, it's an easy way to meet new folks.

The Gossett on Church is an absolute great apartment complex. There are a ton of fun activities to do nearby and many walkable places. The maintenance and staff are always friendly and helpful.

This is honestly a good place to live. I just hate how loud it is if you have an outside unit on the interstate side. Nothing you can do about it, it just can get loud sometimes. And the trash service is inconsistent. However, the leasing office staff and maintenance workers are very nice and helpful. The events are fun, too!

From the time I stepped through the doors at the Gossett I felt welcomed. The first person I met was Kayla. She was so energetic and bubbly and eager to help me find the perfect apartment. Bre the other leasing professional was extremely helpful too. I met Joe on my second visit. He is the assistant manager. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful the three of them are to deal with. Dwain joined the team as the community manager he is a delight to talk to. Looking for a good restaurant, the best shopping they know everything about this area.

We love out apartment! But… First and foremost, the management team is incredibly responsive. Whenever I had a question, concern, or maintenance issue, they were always just a phone call away. Their promptness in addressing any issue was truly remarkable. They genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They organize regular events and activities, encouraging residents to socialize and get to know each other. From community barbecues to holiday parties, they create an atmosphere that feels like a big family. It's amazing to see how they go the extra mile to build a sense of belonging within the complex. I have lived at the Gossett for 2.5 years and have hardly had any complaints! It is clean, the rooms are nice and new, and it is fairly quiet. The pool is nice and big too. It is also located in a convenient area for getting downtown or to midtown. The package system works much better than the one we had when I originally moved here, our trash is picked up daily for us, and there are always fun community events. I can tell that our management is constantly looking for ways to upgrade our experience, and they keep us in the loop via email.

We love the location! Only took half a star off because originally signing a lease here took forever but there's now different office workers and management. Also the dog area could maybe be better? But can't quite put my finger on what would make it nicer. Maintenance is always pretty prompt and doesn't forget to call before entering. The neighbors and staff are friendly, but overall the building needs improvement in security, cleanliness, tech (fob building access frequently disrupted) and a few other issues that aren’t expected at a “luxury” building. Units are nice and maintenance is responsive, but with continued issues with the building the cost of the units will need to be reassessed to match the experience.

Please do a review of all the doors to the building (especially from the parking garage). The lock was always broken so a resident duck tapped the door to always be open which breaches security. We pay a lot of money for a locked and secure building and to see security breached all the time makes me nervous about residents wellbeing. Thanks.

I recently moved in to the Gossett. The move in process was so smooth - I applied to an apartment in the middle of the night online and heard back the next day. Connor, one of the leasing agents, was so helpful and answered every question I had as well as helping me stay organized with everything I need to do. He was communicative and personable. Upon move in my apartment was spotless and beautiful, exceeding my expectations. This is a great building to live in.

I’m starting to get everything under control as it needs to be as far as making sure all of the HVAC units are clean properly while doing the turn this includes cleaning the refrigerators from the back and underneath and just making sure all of the most expensive assets in the building in the community are taken care of and are having PMs done on them.

A couple stats for the location and amazing restaurants that are around here. Less stars because of the constant broken security, broken gate, structure crack that took 6* months for something to be done about which completely closed the secondary exit to the building. Also I attempted to redeem points from this community rewards, reached out about it, and edging towards a month still haven’t received the reward that I claimed after over a year of acquiring points. Pretty disappointed to say the least.

I've had a great year living at the Gossett and just renewed my lease! My apartment has a nice, new feeling and any maintenance issues are solved immediately. My emails are also responded to very quickly. We had some package issues for awhile but I have loved the solution to use Fetch and think it's a great system. I love that my packages come straight to my door. I also think we are located in a perfect spot where many places are easily walkable or a cheap uber ride away. I'm excited for another year at the Gossett!

I love living here. The apartments are clean and the building is close to everything you need. I do think maintenance wise the building is lacking. The garage gate has been broken for about 2 weeks now. This happening right after a bunch of packages were stolen I would have thought security would be higher on the list of importance, but I guess not. On top of that most of the garage doors entering the apartment are broken so you can just open them and walk in. It’s hard to feel safe when the security is lacking so much due to maintenance lacking.

Moving in was a bit of a hassle because the programmed fobs were not working to get inside the building. The apartment was also not clean when I moved in, a week after my official move-in date. However, the maintenance staff worked hard to clean the apartment and to give me a temporary fob that did work in the doors so I could actually move in. So far though, I am enjoying the location and quietness of this apartment. The trash service staff is also very nice, and the complex is clean.

I have called The Gossett home for almost 3 years now. I enjoy living in such a great location, with a fantastic maintenance team. However, the leasing staff has high turnover rates which in turn, means that communication to residents is slacking a lot. They take forever to update amenities, such as the dog wash, and the package room. Unfortunately, they do not have a package system in Service right now so all of our packages are just discombobulated and scattered in the room. The dog wash hasn’t been accessible to use in at least two months.

I have tried to stay positive but I have to get this place the review it deserves. There are so many problems and I can't wait to be out of here. The package/mail situation is absolute chaos and the management DOES NOT CARE. I haven't even put my address on my wedding registry because I fear that I will NEVER see those packages as long as I live here. We live downtown and are paying for "safety" but half the time the gates are stuck WIDE OPEN. Not only that, but there have been plenty of times where doors to the outside street don't lock. The are a few positives: the physical apartment units are very nice and spacious, the amenities are great, and the maintenance staff is incredible.

Everything is great! I’m only taking off 1.5 stars because the mail system is a HUGE mess and non-emergency maintenance requests take a long time for resolution. Issues with USPS aren’t resolved as quickly as other apartment complexes in the area and packages are delayed, misplaced, or lost much too frequently. Per maintenance, they are amazing once the request is addressed but multiple times I’ve waited several weeks to a month for service. I’m low maintenance to the extent of completing tasks myself so my mentioning the above is an indicator that the mail system and non-emergency maintenance requests need restructuring. Otherwise, you won’t find much better staff.

Super good location, the main downfall is that the package room is always packed to the rim and you cant find anything. Oh and also the doors inside are usually always broken

Clean atmosphere, hallways smell amazing, great outdoor pool area with grills. There’s an area to keep your bike stored. Communication with leasing office and organization of packaging room could be better but overall very pleased!

It’s clean and people are friendly. Moving in there were no carts left so we had to do it all by hand which sucked but that’s okay. Also I have no idea what to do with all the boxes due to there not being a trash room on the map and the trash butler paper says no loose trash or boxes.

Everything is great so far! We are satisfied with our floor and building and have met a few other residents while swimming at the pool. Hoping to continue meeting others as well as having no problems in our unit.

The Gossett is in a great location. Tons of restaurants and activities are accessible by walking distance. Love the large patio my unit has and the interior courtyard view. My unit is very nice and the nest thermostats are a nice touch also love the covered parking. I would love if the dog run area were larger. Unfortunately, residents don’t really pick up after their pets and this creates a big issue. I also wish that maintenance request and office issues were answered in a more timely fashion. There is also often an issue with the front gate and package room which is a bit of a security concern. I do like that finding a parking spot in the garage is relatively easy. Overall, I really like my unit and the parking, but the amenities leave a bit more to be desired.

Great amenities, super clean, and the apartments themselves are nice with lots of storage! I was pleasantly surprised about how clean it was upon move in, and I appreciate the security of the building.

Quiet, well maintained and overall a great place to live. Very convenient to walk to grocery stores and downtown. Office staff are so helpful with any question or concern you might have. Maintenance is always very quick to respond.

Great location and price, only issues are typically caused by residents not cleaning up after themselves or pets. And my upstairs neighbors walk like the floor owes them money. Please shut up a little, 212.

Glad the fob situation was finally figured out. I do hate when gates are open. I live in a secured building for a reason. Front doors need locked again before homeless start coming in again.

Move in was super easy! Everyone is so nice and very helpful with everything. Apartment complex is super clean and my view is awesome. You can get to almost anywhere by walking!

Unit and complex are great (other than gates not working), but definitely difficult getting in touch and getting a response from office management leading up to me move in. Hoping it will be more efficient moving forward.

VerMy experience moving in was very easy. The freight elevator worked well and we got it all done in a couple hours. Also, the dollys were very useful in getting multiple things in one load.

Love the pool and package center. Overall quiet for living in the city, love the place. Very easily lost, the building could use more signs in hallways/etc.

Everyone seems very friendly. Offered to help carry boxes while I was moving in. Staff was very helpful when I had a couple maintenance issues and were able to get them resolved.

Great location, love the area and convenience of walking to all the locations nearby. Neighbours are super quiet and friendly. The amenities offered are decent as well and pool days are enjoyable and a fun when to make new friends and meet fellow residents. Parking is a breeze. Units are well kept and modern.

After calling the Gossett home for 2+ years, I can definitely say that they made a ton a changes, for the best! Our property is maintained daily, and is in a great location. Only downside is that the leasing office staff lacks communication with residents, and are often hard to get in touch with.

The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 is due to the slow office & maintenance response. I’m a very patient person (to a fault) but after multiple calls and emails (and a week of waiting with still no response), it seems the only way to receive communication is if you go in person, during office hours. Most office hours are similar so if you work, you more than likely have identical office hours so this requires you to take time off of work. However, once you are in person, the staff is wonderful and friendly. Seriously, they’re amazing. It’s just difficult to receive electronic return communication.

Pretty exciting living in downtown Nashville! Was really getting into the sip and paint activities and curious if there will be other interactive activities going forward. I am also concerned with the parking garage, specifically, the rate of speed some of my neighbors and/or their friends are traveling along with BIG trucks taking up multiple spaces. I would recommend speed "bumps" throughout the garage to encourage people to slow down and maybe a specific parking area for larger vehicles that need more space than the narrow parking spots.

I would highly recommend The Gossett on Church to anyone looking to move to the gulch area downtown. The gulch is my favorite area to live in and the gossett is a perfect pick.

Of course they don’t want us to eat our breakfast, so we are going to enjoy our breakfast. How’s business? Boomin. It’s important to shape up your hedges, it’s like getting a haircut, stay fresh. We don’t see them, we will never see them.
